Not surprised, the char op guys generally are as obsessed with big numbers as WotC is. Spontaneous divination is too practically useful in real games to draw their notice, because it serves no part in their uber "I can deal 15,000 damage in one round" build.

So can you trade your bonus Scribe Scroll for the spontaneous divinations?

This is only important to me because of some feat timing issues in a character I'm making.

Nope, it specifies the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th level feats.

Also, the giantitp boards are going crazy about using this to qualify for Ultimate Magus as a Wizard 5 and have 20th level Wizard casting by character level 14.

Strange, not only is that a very dodgy ruling, but a Shadowcraft Mage has been able to cast 9th level spells at level 8 ever since Complete Mage came out.
